Well graduation time is here again and that means more young adults will spread their wings and begin their lives contributing to the world. For us as parents it is a mixed place to be split between pride and sadness. On one hand we are so proud of the accomplishments that our young ones have made because we have been beside them through each accomplishment and failure. We have taught them to learn lessons from each. We have experienced every up and down with them and they have always had us to fall back on. We have spent these early years developing a strong foundation for this very day. Now they are more on their own and of course we are there for them but their journey is now more their own. That is what makes this difficult for many parents because letting go of something that you have held on so tightly to and guided all of it’s life is difficult. That is why for us giving our graduates a watch is very symbolic because life is all about time. There is a movado watch that can express this sentiment. Every time they are on their new journey and they glance down at their watch they will be reminded how proud we are of them.
