We have been hearing a lot lately about drugs that are causing problems when people take them. I do not think there is anything more heartbreaking then to be taking an antidepressant such as Zoloft or Paxil while you are pregnant and finding out your baby is at a 6% higher rate of being born with heart or long defects. There are several drugs involved in the birth defects lawsuit. As a parent ourselves I can not imagine what parents must go through when they are hit with such difficult news. How they must deal with the guilt they have to have even though they did nothing wrong. After all they were prescribed these drugs by their doctors. This just makes the pain that much worse. We have to do our research and start taking charge of our own health by asking questions and not just putting faith in what we are told even by professionals.
